Fish make it a playground
I’ve had this skull for over a year now. I bought it for pure decoration. I wanted to have something I could place an airstone inside and enjoy the bubbles coming out of the top. Well it certainly served its purpose and then some. My female guppies are using it as a safe haven from the males. The females will swim into the eye orbit and for some reason the males will not follow. She then waits for a chance to swim away in peace. My female Betta also swims in and out of the orifices like the eyes and jaw openings. Really tight squeezes that you would think the fish would avoid but they do not. I am extremely happy with this purchase and am actually here today to order another one for a new tank I’m setting up. The skull has green algae on the top resembling hair growth.
