Shipping

Pet Supermarket ships products Monday – Saturday to the contiguous 48 states. Orders are typically shipped the day after they are received. However, please allow up to 2 days for processing of orders containing dog and cat food. Orders made online after Saturday at 12:00pm noon through Sunday will ship the following Monday.

Pet Supermarket ships packages through UPS.

Shipping Information

Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Delivery Timeframe: Ground shipping typically takes 1–5 business days after processing. Delivery times may vary based on location and carrier delays.

Free Shipping over $49 *Exclusions Apply

Qualifying orders of $49 or more at the subtotal level (after coupons have been applied and prior to any applicable taxes) ship via standard delivery for free. All orders under $49 ship for a flat rate of $7.99 ground shipping. Restrictions apply and will be noted during Checkout.

Express Shipping Options

Express shipping options are currently not available at this time.

In-Store Pickup

Order by 4 PM local time for same-day pickup! You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is ready. Please pick up your order within 3 days — after that, it will be returned, and your order will be canceled.

Same-Day Delivery

Same Day Delivery is available from all Pet Supermarket stores for thousands of eligible products. Timing varies by store.

*Orders must be placed at least 3 hours before your selected store’s closing time to qualify for Same-Day Delivery. Orders placed after this time will be delivered the next day, excluding holidays. Availability and delivery times may vary by location.

Returns

In-store Returns

We will be happy to refund merchandise returned in its original packaging and with an original receipt within 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued in the same form of tender that was used for the original transaction. Items returned opened or without a receipt can be exchanged or refunded to a store gift card for the item’s current selling price. A valid photo ID is required. Small Animals, birds and reptiles are guaranteed for 15 days from the date of purchase. Fish are guaranteed for 7 days – some restrictions may apply. See store associate for details.

Online purchases may also be returned in store. Returns must be processed within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. The packing slip included with your online order is required to make the return.

Online Returns

If you do not have a local store and wish to return via mail, you may do so with the carrier of your choice. Return shipping charges are non-refundable unless due to an error caused by Pet Supermarket. Returns must be processed within 30 days of receipt of your merchandise. Please make note of your return tracking information. Please include the invoice in the box and identify the reason for the return on the invoice, once the item is received at our warehouse, we will issue a refund. Kindly allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your credit statement. Please ship the package to the address below.

Pet Supermarket is not responsible for return shipments lost by the carrier. Any merchandise that is in used condition and/or returned without the original packaging may be refused or subject to a repackaging fee. Kindly allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your credit statement. The timeframe may vary based on your financial institution.

Note: All VIP Rewards Points earned on purchases that are subsequently returned will be deducted from a customer’s total Points balance in your VIP account.
