VIP Rewards Terms and Conditions


1. BECOMING A V.I.P. VERY IMPORTANT PET ("VIP") REWARDS MEMBER

  1. VIP Rewards is free to join
  2. There is no purchase necessary to become a Pet Supermarket VIP Rewards member. Void where prohibited.
  3. To enroll, you must be 18 years of age or older and be a resident of one of the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia.
  4. Signing up
    1. In-store – an individual must provide their first and last name, phone number and mailing address. An email address is recommended but not required as it will be used for communication to members of the VIP program regarding program information, promotions and Rewards (as hereinafter defined).
    2. Online – an individual must provide first and last name, phone number and email address.
  5. Each person is only allowed one VIP account. "Household" accounts for multiple members of the same home or family are not permitted.
  6. It is the VIP member's responsibility to advise Pet Supermarket of any changes to his/her personal information by updating his/her personal profile online, at a Pet Supermarket store or by contacting Pet Supermarket Customer Service at 866-434-1990.
  7. After sign-up, VIP members are immediately eligible to start earning points.

$5 REWARDS

2. $5 REWARD - EARNING POINTS

  1. Points towards a $5 Reward can be earned on most products sold online or in-store.
  2. Points cannot be earned on state, federal or local taxes, any forms of gift cards or vouchers, license fees, adoption fees, trial products, any pet care services provided by third parties at Pet Supermarket stores (such as VIP Pet Care), or on other non-sellable items such as gratuities paid to groomers and bathers. The list of ineligible items or services may be modified at any time without notice.
  3. To earn points on their purchases, VIP members must be logged into their account. In-store, this means providing the cashier with a membership identifier such as their phone number. Online, the member must be logged in at checkout.
  4. The VIP system will award Points to the nearest dollar.
    1. If the item price is at or above fifty cents ($0.50) total, before applicable taxes, the VIP system will round up based on the individual line-item price. This means that if item price is $1.50, the VIP account will earn 2 Points.
    2. If it is forty-nine cents or below, it will round down. This means that if the item price $1.49, the VIP account earn 1 point.
    3. Items priced below $0.50 earn 0 Points.
    4. If a coupon or another discount type is used, Points are awarded based on the after-coupon or discount price.
  5. Points will be credited to the VIP member’s account within 48 hours after the order has been completed, depending upon system availability. In-store, this means when the transaction has been paid for. Online, this means after the order has shipped.
  6. When shopping in-store, if there is no internet connection or the store cannot connect to the server for any reason, VIP Points cannot be earned automatically. In this circumstance, a customer may ask the store for assistance or reach out to Customer Service to receive their earned Points.
  7. VIP Points have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.

3. $5 REWARD - RECEIVING $5 REWARDS

  1. When a VIP member accumulates 100 Points, he/she will receive a $5 Reward ("Reward") to be applied toward a future purchase. Similarly, if a member accumulates 300 Points, he/she will receive $15 in (3) separate $5 Rewards. The 100 points are removed from the account and a $5 Reward is issued. Any additional points in the account will remain to be used towards earning a future $5 Reward.
  2. The $5 Reward will be credited to the VIP member's account and will be available within 48 hours after the order has been completed, depending upon system availability.
    1. 100 Points will be deducted when each $5 Reward is posted to the account.
  3. Each $5 Reward has a unique, 1-time use code.
  4. The issuance of every $5 Reward will be communicated to the member by email, if available. If no email is on file,
    1. In-store: VIP members may ask a store associate for their balance.
    2. Online: customers may check their Account online at https://www.petsupermarket.com/account/. This requires account sign-up online. Reward status may not be immediately available.
    3. Customers may also contact customer service for their VIP Rewards Point/Rewards Status.
  5. No Rewards of any kind are issued until the VIP member reaches 100 Points.

4. $5 REWARD - REDEEMING $5 REWARDS

  1. $5 Rewards can be redeemed in-store or online.
  2. They cannot be redeemed on state, federal or local taxes, any forms of gift cards or vouchers, license fees, adoption fees, trial products, any pet care services provided by third parties at Pet Supermarket stores (such as VIP Pet Care), or on other non-sellable items such as gratuities paid to groomers and bathers. The list of ineligible items or services may be modified at any time without notice.
  3. To redeem a reward
    1. In-store: ask the cashier to log in to your VIP Rewards account, locate your reward and apply it to the transaction
      1. If for any reason the store cannot connect to the server, VIP Rewards cannot be redeemed. They will remain in the user’s account.
    2. Online: At checkout, enter your unique $5 Reward code(s) in the “Enter Promo Code” field and click Submit. Repeat this process to use multiple $5 Rewards.
  4. When VIP Rewards are redeemed, the VIP member must use the entire amount. If a VIP member chooses to redeem a $5 Reward for a transaction under $5, the remaining value of that $5 Reward will be forfeited.
  5. Other restrictions may apply when redeeming with another Pet Supermarket coupon. See a store associate for details.
  6. VIP members may redeem multiple $5 Rewards in a transaction.
  7. Pet Supermarket may require photo identification to confirm a VIP member's identity when a VIP member redeems a VIP Reward. The photo ID presented must be a current and valid government-issued identification, such as a driver's license. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to reject any form of identification if it believes such identification is not valid or sufficient. The registered VIP account holder must be present to redeem a Reward so that we can protect the integrity of the VIP member's account.

5. $5 REWARDS - EXPIRATION OF POINTS & $5 REWARDS

  1. A VIP account that has not had a transaction for 6 months will have its Points balance towards a $5 Reward reset to zero.
  2. Any $5 Rewards will also expire after 6 months.

SELF-SERVE DOG WASH

6. SELF-SERVE DOG WASH – EARNING POINTS

  1. VIP members who use the Self-Serve Dog Wash at participating stores will earn points towards a Free Wash a.k.a. “Wash Reward” (as hereinafter defined)
  2. For each dog wash purchase, the VIP member earns 1 point, regardless of which wash option is purchased.

7. SELF-SERVE DOG WASH – RECEIVING REWARDS

  1. Once a VIP member earns 6 points from purchasing 6 washes within a rolling 12-month period, they will earn a Wash Reward. The 6 points are removed from the account and a Wash Reward is issued. Any additional points in the account will remain to be used towards a future Wash Reward.
    1. Purchases older than 12 months will automatically be disqualified and not count toward the Wash Reward.
  2. The issuance of every Wash Reward will be communicated to the member by email, if available. If no email is on file,
    1. In-store: VIP members may ask a store associate for their balance.
    2. Online: customers may check their Account online at https://www.petsupermarket.com/account/. This requires account sign-up online. Reward status may not be immediately available.
    3. Customers may also contact Customer Service for their VIP Rewards Point/Rewards Status.
  3. Wash Rewards have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.
  4. No Rewards of any kind are issued until the VIP member reaches 6 washes.

8. SELF-SERVE DOG WASH – REDEEMING REWARDS

  1. Wash Rewards can only be redeemed in-store.
  2. To redeem a reward in-store, ask the cashier to log in to your VIP Rewards account, locate your reward and apply it to the transaction.
    1. If for any reason the store cannot connect to the server, VIP Rewards cannot be redeemed. They will remain in the user’s account.
  3. When redeeming a Free Wash Reward, the Free Wash may be redeemed for any available wash option.

9. SELF-SERVE DOG WASH – EXPIRING REWARDS

  1. The Wash Reward must be redeemed at Pet Supermarket stores with dog wash stations within 60 days from the date the Wash Reward is issued or it will expire and be purged from the VIP account.

10. RETURNS

  1. All Points earned on purchases that are subsequently returned will be deducted from your total Points balance in your VIP account.

11. VIP ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  1. In most cases, a VIP member's program Points cannot be combined with the Points or other benefits earned by another VIP member. To request an exception, please contact Customer Service. If such a request is granted, we will require the express written permission of the relinquishing VIP account holder. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to reject any merged account request.
  2. VIP Points will not be applied retroactively to any purchases made prior to the date the member signs up for the VIP program.
  3. If a VIP member needs to request VIP Points for missed transactions, he/she will need to provide a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase no more than 5 business days after the date of the transaction to their local store or Customer Service. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to reject any request for VIP Points for missed transactions for which receipt proof of purchase is not provided within this timeframe.

SENIOR & MILITARY DAY DISCOUNT

12. SENIOR DAY DISCOUNT

  1. The Senior Day discount is available in-store only on the last Tuesday of every month.
  2. Individuals must be at least 55 years of age, be a valid VIP member and be present during the transaction to qualify for the discount.
  3. The discount is 10% off purchases of regular and sale priced items, grooming and self-serve dog wash.
  4. Proof of age is required and may be requested when using the discount on Senior Day.
  5. This discount excludes adoption fees, gift cards and license fees. Not combinable with other coupons. Other restrictions may apply.
  6. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to change the date or details of Senior Day without notice.

13. MILITARY DAY DISCOUNT

  1. The Military Day discount is available in-store only on the last Tuesday of every month.
  2. Individuals must be active duty, retired or veteran members of US Military, be a valid VIP member and be present during the transaction to qualify for the discount.
  3. Proof of military service is required and may be requested when using the discount on Military Day.
  4. The discount is 10% off purchases of regular and sale priced items, grooming and self-serve dog wash.
  5. This discount excludes adoption fees, gift cards and license fees. Not combinable with other coupons. Other restrictions may apply.
  6. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to change the date or details of Military Day without notice.

14. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  1. All sales tax is the responsibility of the VIP member.
  2. Questions regarding the VIP Rewards Program should be directed to Pet Supermarket Customer Service.
  3. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to change, alter or discontinue this VIP program in whole or in part at any time without notice. The terms and conditions of the VIP program, as may be changed from time to time, will be posted on https://www.petsupermarket.com/vip-terms-and-conditions/ and a member's continued use of the VIP program will constitute the member's acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  4. Pet Supermarket reserves the right to refuse to honor any VIP Points, credits/awards, and/or other benefits under the VIP program if it suspects fraudulent or dishonest behavior.
