Nutritious food for all of my pups

Great food for my pups

I have tried many different brands such as American Journey, Zignature, Nulo, Merrick, Hills, and now Purina Pro Plan. My dogs love the bits of meat in the kibble as an extra treat and they haven’t had digestion issues as in the past. Like many, I was skeptical of feeding Purina compared to other brands, but the Pro Plan tier is much higher than those such as Beneful. I was impressed. My dogs digest it well and are excited when they see the bags getting delivered.

Dog’s best friend!

My 2 Labrador Retriever love the food.

Favorite food to buy

More shredded pieces, please
We have a VERY picky corgi and she eats the Pro Plan shredded blend chicken & rice food better than anything else we have tried. She really loves the shredded pieces, she eats those first and most of the time she will eat the kibble too but not always. It would be great if you made a bag with just the shredded pieces, or increased the amount you're currently putting in bags. Thanks.

My dogs haven’t been healthier since I feed Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice for large dogs and small bites for my little dogs. I have 10 dogs. My vet said he couldn’t believe my 12 yr old husky was so healthy!

A great staple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've fed this to my three dogs for about 2 years and am very pleased with the results. All the dogs tolerate this food without any issues and can switch between proteins easily if needed/desired. All three dogs (and my four cats) get very excited when I open the food each night! They all love the shredded chicken pieces especially. I have confidence in this diet and have no plans to stop feeding it.

1 ingredient used is also used in weed killer!
My doodle has developed major itching issues. I started him on pro plan essential’s because at a glance the ingredients looked healthy. When he continued to get worse I started to research the CORN GLUTEN MEAL only to discover that’s the same ingredient used IN WEED KILLER! This dog food comes across as healthy dog food with a HIDDEN potentially Dangerous ingredient.

I have used this brand for years but recently making my dogs so sick one of my dogs developed a bad allergy reaction to it his skin falling off and is hear breaking they also started to have bad diarrhea and their poop smells awful

Wow. This food is making our puppy throw up and diarrhea. We thought this food was top notch stuff. We switched over from Nutro to give our senior dog more protein and higher quality ingredients, etc. And yes. We did the transition very gradually. Over a months time in fact. Something is very "off" with this food.
