Formulated as a food and treat all in one, Sunburst Gourmet Blends are fortified with vitamins, minerals and amino acids as well as plant-based DHA Omega-3 and protected probiotics to support immunity. What you won't find in our Sunburst are artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives. Sunburst Gourmet Blend for Chinchillas contains species appropriate dried mixed fruits, sun-cured hay, flaked vegetables, pre-cooked legumes and much more!Feeding Instructions
While introducing a new food to your chinchilla, gradually mix Sunburst with your pet's old diet. Increase the amount of Sunburst over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet's digestive system. Feed your chinchilla 2 to 3 tbsp of Sunburst per day depending on the age of your pet. Complement this feeding with unlimited amounts of hay. Always regulate the food portion to maintain your pet's weight. A pregnant or lactating female will sometimes eat 2 to 3 times as much as a normal adult. Remove and discard uneaten food everyday and clean the bowl prior to refilling it. don’t buy this for a chinchilla!
my chinchilla has been eating this even while in the pet shop. the pet shop told me it was okay to use. but chinchillas can only eat pellets and hay not anything extra such as fruit and nuts which both are in this feed. please just get a simple bag of pellets for ur chinchilla don’t buy this
