Habitat and Care
The Live Bug Box keeps crickets fed and contained, so there is no separate cricket setup needed for short-term use.
- Storage: Store the box in a dry location at room temperature; for longer keeping, move crickets to a well-ventilated, smooth-sided container with egg cartons for hiding.
- Temperature: Maintain 70-75°F to keep crickets active without overheating.
- Food & Water: The box holds about a week of food and water; after that, offer cricket food or fresh fruits and vegetables for gut-loading, plus a water gel or a shallow dish with a sponge to prevent drowning.
- Shelf Life: Plan to use the crickets within about a week, while the included food and water last.
