Dwarf Gourami are one of the most colorful community fish available in the hobby. They are tenacious and curious. Dwarf Gouramis are often active in the aquarium and can be ovserved exploring their habitat and interact with their human companions. Territorial towards eachother, male Dwarf Gouramis should not be housed together.

  • Life epectancy is 4 to 6 years.
  • Max size is 3.5 inches

  • Owner experience level = Beginner to intermediate
  • Introduction to tank: Males should not be housed together long term.
  • Décor: Variety of décor and live plants
  • Water conditions: Introduce to established aquariums only that is slightly acidic to neutral to somewhat alkaline.
  • Cleaning: 25% of the aquarium water should be vacuumed and replaced each week
  • Additional information: Use conditioner for tap water
