Very Effective, however...
We purchased this collar after my cousin told me how effective he found it on his dog. We have a 5 yr old King Charles Cavalier (mix). He would often bark (repeatedly) at the train passing; the barking of our neighbour's dog, and the list goes on. Within days of putting the collar on he learned that his barking would result in a spray of cintronella which he was less than impressed with. While he will still bark occasionally, it will be one bark and then he stops as soon as he gets his spray. It is so nice to have a quieter house and a short lived barking dog as opposed to his going on and on.
In my title, I say "Very Effective, however...". The however refers to our not having paid enough attention about the replacement cost of the cartridges. They cannot be refilled (never even turned our mind to this question) until after we purchased it and within days, were buying refills. The cost of the cartridges can add up pretty quickly so make note of this.
The other "however" is (unless I am missing it) is that there is no way to adjust the sensitivity of the collar. As a result, sometimes when our dog simply shakes his head, he gets a spray of citronella.

works!
we have a very "talkative" great dane and nothing has worked for him very long - however he does not like the spray bottle so I thought I would give this a try and it WORKS! it doesnt hurt him in any way but deters his constant barking. highly recommend!

This don’t work!
I bought this 3 montasje ago to my Malinois puppy, 8 months old. It worked for a two or three times, but then she didn’t respond.
I have put in a new spray, the battery is fully charged, but it gives very little spray when I tested it.
Can there be something wrong with it?

Sprays dog without even barking
I have had this collar for my smaller dog that has a barking problem. The collar repeatedly sprays my dog randomly like when he shakes his body or other things. The cartridge’s also do not last long at all, no where close to the described amount of sprays. Would not recommend

Doesn’t work!
Have charged this thing repeatedly overnight. It either has run out of spray (after only 10minutes wearing it), or it’s not charging properly. Lights are all on, beeping sounds say it’s in but it is NOT spraying when she barks! I’m so disappointed I’ve wasted my money on this product!

Both Collars Fell Apart
Im pretty disappointed at the quality of this product. Both collars I purchased fell apart within a week of use. The charging system is not seamless by any means.

Sanity!
We rescued a 2 yr old dog who barked incessantly at anything he heard or saw. Seeing any animal on TV would instantly incite a barking tirade! Efforts to quiet, including a signal/shock collar, failed. We were discussing having to surrender him. We decided to try one more intervention. The Citronella collar restored sanity to our home
