Brittle plastic could be a choking hazard
We have an elderly dog with dementia who stopped eating on his own. Our vet recommended feeding via a syringe while we tried treatments for his mental state. This syringe was the perfect size and easy to use. However, the plastic is brittle and the tip cracked within two days of use! Dogs naturally want to chew or bite on what’s in their mouth if it’s got food involved. And brittle plastic is dangerous if a piece breaks off and gets swallowed. A softer, more flexible plastic needs to be used.
