Missing ingredients otherwise it’d be 5 stars!
Bought a small bag from Petsmart to see if my lab would like it and he loves it. The only problem is I poured the whole bag out and there are no freeze dried raw pieces inside the bag. Disappointing ☹️

I have two American bullies they love the whole line of back country. I use to feed them pro 89 it was a choose for the protein. I found out about Merrick and the back country with 38% and never looked back.

My two German Shepherds absolutely love Merrick's Big Game Recipe! They are typically extremely picky about food, however not when it comes to Merrick Backcountry, they clean the whole bowl! We have tried every flavor of Backcountry and they love them all!

We have feed Mason Merrick since we enjoyed his arrival to our home as an 8 week old GSD. Now a year old he still enjoys it! We sweeten it with real raw occasionally. But growing well on this chow. Thanks Merrick!

My dogs love it!
My three English bulldogs have been eating Merrick and are always digging around in their food for those dehydrated raw pieces. They love it! I only wish there were even more instead of having to buy the extra pack to mix in. I’ve noticed that when you open the bag there are tons of raw pieces but the further down in the bag you go, the less raw pieces there are. This doesn’t just happen sometimes, it happens every time. It seems like something that should be looked into. I do like the fact that they use fewer and safer ingredients than some of the other brands I’ve researched as well.

Awesome Lil furry man stuff
My lil man loves this stuff! used to be he wanted all raw. I finally figured out if I broke up the raw into a sand like feel I could spread it out over the rest! It works and he’s a happy lik guy

So disappointed
As much as my dogs love all the food..after researching the content.. I don't get why you put salt in the food!! And barely any of the vitamins that you claim are in the product!!! After this.. I'm switching to raw feeding..so sad really that companies use such deception to consumers!
