Great concept, poor execution
I bought this because one litter pan is out in the open and didn't want a dirty scooper out in the open, but...the handle is too weak and the serrated edge is next to worthless. Stiffen the handle and make the edge straight and it will be a good product.

Great idea for litter scoopers
I have used my SCOOP 'N' HIDE for over a year now. It is next to the litter box in my bathroom. Easy to use and keeps the scooper out of sight and tidy. I do wish it was heavier because the action of removing and returning the scoop to the holder is clumsy. My solution was to use a bag of 375 copper pennies in the base to keep the unit on the floor when using it. I filled a sock with the pennies, but a sandbag may work as well.

Great holder, weak scooper
I love the holder. It does a great job of not scattering dirty litter anywhere. I also like how the holder shuts closed along with the odor, unlike a lot of the other scooper holders by other brands.
But the scooper is too weak. My cat is prone to UTI, so I mix a lot of water in his wet food, which makes him urinate a lot. Sometimes I have to scrape the clump off the bottom of the litter box, and the scooper just snaps.
I’ve had three of these so far, and all three scoopers broke within 5-6 months of use.
I like the holders though, so I’m still using the holders with the small scoopers that came with Litter Genie. It would be nice if they made metal scoopers compatible with the holders.
Also, the sticker labels on these are the messiest labels to try to remove I’ve ever encountered on any product.
