Food that's made for my cats urinary health.

My cat loves ONLY this urinary tract food!

My cat has urinary tract disease and I literally went to a large pet food store here in YVR and took 2 cans of every cat food and my cat only constantly ate this pro plan special food. I have ordered a case of each flavour of this special pro plan food. Would highly recommend this kind of food to others!

My pet loves this

Cat hates the new label/formula
My cat has eaten this his whole life, and with the new label change(and likely a formula change), he will no longer eat it. Unfortunately ordered 3 cases of this to see if I just got a bad one. He will not eat anything from the 3 cases. Product smells different, looks burnt, and much different then before.

formula change caused constipation
The packaging recently changed and apparently so did the formula. Both of my cats have been eating this food without issue for years and it well managed the UTI issues, but the recent formula change has caused both of my cats to become constipated! Ongoing constipation issues can kill a cat - and I thought Purina brand cared about the life and health of animals. So now I have to find a new food that manages their symptoms and fixes this constipation issue and 'experimenting' with food is not great for cats either.

Unhappy Cat
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this specific cat food after one of my cats developed a UTI. Together with the vet food, he did quite well. After the new branding and the whatever recipe changes there was (I know the food content is less and the liquid is more), my cat has started puking and refusing to eat it. This has made things difficult trying to get the right calorie and fluid intake in him so he doesn’t have a repeat UTI. Very disappointed and I wish you would go back to to original content.

MY 2 CATS HAVE LOVED THIS FLAVOR & FORMULA FOR 4 YEARS. NOW SUDDENLY THE PACKAGING HAS CHANGED AND APPARENTLY SO HAS THE FORMULA. I CAN BARELY GET 2 CATS TO EAT 1/2 OF A SMALL CAN. PLEASE CHANGE THE FORMULA BACK!!!!

Cat will no longer eat with new look/formula
My Siamese has been doing great on this line for about 3 years. He especially loves this turkey and the oceanfish pate. He’s prone to bladder crystals and gets all his hydration from the wet food. He has refused to eat this turkey and eats maybe half the oceanfish (he was consuming one 5.5 oz can/day. Very disappointing there seems to be a formula change and he may need to go back on expensive Rx brands. Please bring back old formula!

Purina Pro UTH turkey and giblets wet cat food.
I did not realize there was a label change and possibly a formula change. One of my cats had a UTB and has been on this food for almost 3 years. He only likes the turkey and giblets or sometimes beef and chicken. When I fed him the first can with a new label he refused to eat it. So something is different in the formula. He's a very picky eater and I don't know if I can get him to eat this or not. I'm on a very small fixed income and this food is not cheap and I may be stuck with a case of food he will never eat. Now I have to find something affordable with low enough ph to replace this. UNHAPPY

Purina One
I use Purina One, vet recommended for a cheaper food than Science Diet. My one cat had issues with the grain free having diarrhea and throwing up. I have started him on Friskies Pate and it is working. I also soften his hard food because he head 9 teeth removed. I am on disability and I find that the Purina products I have used for years and now use Hairball formula, weight management for seniors.

Purina knows what cats like
My doctor asked me to switch to some expensive brand for one of my cats with a urinary issue, but my cat wouldn't touch the new food. Even with a prescription appetite stimulant. He refused to eat until I got Purina's Pro plan urinary formula.
The cat food pictured is not the flavor he likes but it wasn't a choice for some reason. He will only eat the gravy formula - not the classic.

He ate every bit of This serving and I feel good about giving it to him since he’s had issues with his bladder before. It’s made with real turkey and giblets and helps to maintain urinary tract health and has balanced nutrients to help support the immune system and I have to say my cat has never acted better so I’m impressed with this wet cat food manufactured by Purina. I would highly recommend this product.

My girl loved it!

My cat enjoys this food
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat was recently hospitalized for a urinary blockage, and it was recommended that we feed him specialty food for urinary issues. He absolutely refused to eat the expensive prescription food from the vet office. We purchased this in the hopes he would eat it, and he seems to enjoy it! He hasn't had any urinary issues since, so we are hopeful it's helping.

Picky cat approved!

Shes was able to eat this food without getting an upset stomach which is a huge win for me as it is hard to find wet food she can digest properly. The can was very easy to open even my grandmother could open it.
When I opened it, it looked kind of dry. As I put it on the plate I still believed it looked dry. My cat didn’t care for it. It seemed like it would be good food for her but like I said she didn’t eat much of it. So it’s probably not something I would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently buy Purina Pro Plan Focus Adult Urinary Tract Health Formula Wet Cat Food for my cats but was very excited to try the Turkey & Giblets Entree because it is a different flavor than usual. It is something different and exciting for my cats. The urinary tract formula is great at helping my cats when they have issues and to also help prevent any upcoming issues like kidney stones which are very common for cats. All of my cats really loved this flavor and I liked giving them a different flavor. I think turkey is something more up their alley and a great different flavor besides chicken which is so common and they seems to really enjoy it.

It's made in the US, with real ingredients, and provides a low intake of magnesium which is critical for urinary health. I even tried the chicken and tuna to see if he'd eat that, no deal.
