Feeding Instructions
These feeding guidelines are suggested only. Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate. Adult cats should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance dry cat food, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the Table. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature and activity of your cat. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your cat's needs. If you would like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can add small amounts of Natural Balance Canned Cat Food.- For adult cats:
- 4 lb or less - up to 3/8 cup per day
- 4-7 lbs - 3/8 to 2/3 cup per day
- 7-10 lbs - 2/3 to 3/4 cup per day
- 10-13 lbs - 3/4 to 7/8 cup per day
- 13-16 lbs - 7/8 to 1 cup per day
