So far so good!
My cats really like this food. It took them at least a week to even try it but now they eat it up! One of my cats has IBD and needs a limited ingredient, novel protein diet. She would not eat the Hill's prescription diet my vet recommended. This food has similar ingredients and is a little cheaper. I just wish duck was the first ingredient and it had more protein, probiotics, pumpkin and fiber.

Fixed Allergy Issues!
Both of my cats have allergy issues - one had constant ear infections and the other started to have skin issues a few months afterwards. I switched them both to the duck & pea formula (at separate times), and their food allergy issues completely cleared up!

The only food that settles my cat's stomach
My cat has a really finicky stomach. Since I brought him home as a kitten, I had to change foods every few months because none of them kept him from having diarrhea and passing gas regularly. I tried various more expensive LID foods, and none of them did any good. I picked this one on a whim because I was out of other options, and lo! Not only did he eat it without hesitation, nearly all of his stomach distress went away. No more diarrhea! No more kitty flatulence. He's been on it for almost three years now, and the vet says he looks great. Perfect weight, healthy coat. I had to pick a different flavor recently because they were out of stock of this one, and my kitty did NOT like that. He tolerates it grudgingly, and it doesn't upset his stomach, but he'll leave his food half-finished sometimes, and always has to give it a good, long sniff before he'll tolerate it. But the duck and pea, he's all over!

Perfect Option!
This is great for both of my cats since one has food allergies and one has IBD. Both cats love this formula and the ingredients are much more nutritious than other brands.

I started buying this cat food about 4 months ago for my cat with IBD and to my relief he loves it. More unexpectedly, my other two cats would not leave him alone when eating so now they have been switched to his food LID duck and pea too. It makes it easy since now they all eat the same food and they are all crazy about it. Thanks!

So great for my cat with IBD
My cat, Marla, has irritable bowel disease and used to vomit quite often. She even had a bout of pancreatitis and has been on pain meds and an appetite stimulant. I ordered the Natural Balance LID duck and green pea formula and she hasn't vomited once since we switched! She absolutely loves it. She paws at the bag to get it open! Thank you, Natural Balance, for giving me my cat back!

Sad that there’s salmon oil
This food was perfect for my cat until they added salmon oil. Now there’s no dry food out there that he can eat—yes, including prescription. So sad, he loved it too.

Definitely Working to improve Coat!
Been using the Duck n Green pea formula for about 2 months/ the last 2 weeks almost exclusively. My cat’s coat has improved drastically and he’s not as irritated with excessive biting chewing! He’s had problems with flea allergy per md but I just tried the duck LID formula to see if a food allergy was also creating issues since he was not any better on prednisilone. Jack is Very happy!!thanks!
