Habitat and Care
One wooly Guinea pig should be housed in a minimum habitat of 30x30x18. Multiple Guinea pigs require larger habitats As a beginner pet, wooly Guinea pigs are fairly easy to care for. Clean water, food and Timothy hay should be offered daily and additional guinea pig specific chews are needed to keep their teeth from over growing. A soft non dusty bedding should be used and spot cleaned daily.The habitat should be deep cleaned weekly. To keep your wooly Guinea pig thriving, they will benefit from daily outside of their habitat play.
