Daily Feeding Directions Adult Guinea Pigs (over 6 months) 1/8 cup daily ,Feed in addition to unlimited grass hay. *This product is not intended for growing, active, pregnant or nursing guinea pigs. We encourage pet owners to feed Oxbow Essentials Young Guinea Pig Food during these stages of life. Please note that these are guidelines. If your guinea pig is overweight or underweight, please contact your veterinarian or Oxbow for more specific feeding information. Seventy-five percent of your guinea pig's diet should be grass hay. Oxbow offers a variety of hand-selected, high-fiber hays to enrich the life and health of your pet. Transitioning Foods: Week One, mix 1/4 new food with 3/4 current food. Week Two, mix 1/2 new food with 1/2 current food. Week Three, mix 3/4 new food with 1/4 current food. By Week Four, you can feed Garden Select Adult Guinea Pig Food exclusively to your pet.
