What is ID.me? 

ID.me is a secure digital identity platform that helps verify your eligibility for special discounts online. Once verified, you can easily access exclusive savings from hundreds of participating brands and organizations.

At Pet Supermarket, ID.me is used to verify eligibility for our Senior, Military, and Teacher discounts. Once you're verified, your status is saved to your VIP Rewards account, making future purchases easier. 

Does it cost anything to use ID.me? 

No. ID.me is completely free to use. There are no subscription fees, membership fees, or charges to verify your identity or access eligible discounts. 

Can I qualify for more than one community discount?

If you qualify for more than one eligible group, your ID.me Wallet may be verified for multiple communities. However, only one eligible discount may be applied to a qualifying purchase. 

What if I become eligible after creating my VIP Rewards account?

You can complete ID.me verification at any time and link your verified status to your existing VIP Rewards account.

What happens if my eligibility status changes? 

Some eligibility categories may require periodic re-verification through ID.me. If re-verification is needed, ID.me will provide instructions during the process.

How do I update my verification information?

Updates to verification information must be made through your ID.me Wallet. Once updated, your eligibility status will continue to sync with your VIP Rewards account.

Who qualifies for Pet Supermarket's Senior Discount?

VIP Rewards members who are 55 years of age or older are eligible to receive 10% off qualifying regular-priced and clearance merchandise after completing ID.me verification.

Who qualifies for Pet Supermarket's Military Discount? 

VIP Rewards members who are active-duty military, veterans, retired military personnel, or members of the reserves are eligible to receive 10% off qualifying regular-priced and clearance merchandise after completing ID.me verification.

Who qualifies for Pet Supermarket's Teacher Discount? 

VIP Rewards members currently employed in eligible educational roles may qualify for 10% off qualifying regular-priced and clearance merchandise after completing ID.me verification.

Eligible educators include:

• Certified teachers
• Teacher aides
• Teaching assistants
• Certified educational assistants
• Lifetime teaching credential holders
• College and university professors
• Speech pathologists
• School administrators

Do I need to be a VIP Rewards member to receive the discount?

Yes. You must be enrolled in VIP Rewards and complete ID.me verification to receive eligible Senior, Military, or Teacher discounts. 

Can someone else use my discount? 

No. Discounts are available only to the verified VIP Rewards member and cannot be transferred to another person.

Verification Process 

How do I verify my eligibility? 

Sign in to your VIP Rewards account and follow the ID.me verification process. ID.me will guide you through the steps needed to confirm your eligibility. 

What information will I need to verify?

The verification requirements vary depending on the group you're verifying for. ID.me will let you know what information or documentation may be needed during the process. Select Verify with ID.me, sign in to your ID.me Wallet — or create one if you're new to ID.me — and follow any prompts to verify your status. After verifying, the discount will be applied automatically at checkout if products are eligible. 

Do I need to verify every time I shop? 

No. Once your eligibility has been verified through ID.me and linked to your VIP Rewards account, you won't need to complete the verification process again unless re-verification is required. 

Do I still need to show an ID or proof of eligibility in-store?

No. Once your ID.me verification is linked to your VIP Rewards account, additional proof of eligibility is not required.

Discount Questions

How much is the discount? 

Eligible VIP Rewards members receive 10% off qualifying regular-priced and clearance merchandise every day.

Are any products or services excluded? 

Yes. Exclusions include, but are not limited to:

• Gift cards
• Feeders
• Dog grooming services
• Self-service dog wash services

Additional exclusions may apply. 

Can I combine my discount with other coupons, promotions, or offers? 

No. The Senior, Military, and Teacher discounts cannot be combined with other coupons, discounts, or promotional offers.

Can I receive my verified discount on AutoShip & Save orders? 

Yes. AutoShip & Save orders qualify for 35% off your first order and 10% off all future orders, when registered through ID.me for your Senior, Military, and Teacher discounts. 

Existing AutoShip & Save orders will receive your Senior, Military, and Teacher discounts when registered through ID.me and linked in your VIP Rewards account.

Where will my discount appear after I verify?

Once verification is complete and linked to your VIP Rewards account, your discount will automatically be applied to qualifying purchases at checkout. 

Verified in-store?

A one-time barcode will be generated and saved to your VIP Rewards account for use at checkout. Within 24 hours, the barcode will be removed and your discount will apply automatically to future eligible purchases

Technical Support Questions 

I'm having trouble completing verification. What should I do? 

If you're experiencing issues during the verification process, please contact the ID.me Help Center for assistance with your verification status, troubleshooting, or ID.me Wallet.

My discount isn't appearing at checkout. What should I do?

First, make sure you're signed in to the VIP Rewards account that was used during verification. If you're still having trouble, contact Pet Supermarket Customer Service for assistance.

Can Pet Supermarket see my personal documents or information submitted to ID.me?

No. ID.me securely manages the verification process. Pet Supermarket receives only the verification status needed to confirm your eligibility
