Would Be Nice If They List EXACT Measurement
Don't buy this if you think it's going to fit a 36x18 breeder tank. The description only mentions it being 36 inches wide. This lid is barely 12 inches deep! Are there even tanks out there that are 36x12? I've never seen one. I had to fill in the gap with plastic wrap. Tried ordering a different lid in exact measurements by a different company and it arrived shattered and cut my hands up opening the box. So I give up. Also the plastic trim to attach to this thing is horribly difficult to put on. Ended up needing 2 people, a mallet, and silicone lube. Forty dollars and an hour total driving to get this junk.

Outstanding Aquarium Glass Cover
I was very impressed with the thickness of the glass. It's almost 50% thicker than other glass covers I have purchased in the past from other manufactures. The plastic hinge is also of a heavy-duty plastic and seems very strong. The rear plastic cover makes a complete aquarium seal to keep those fish that like to jump in the tank. The glass canopy is a perfect fit for my Marineland @ tank. Customer service at the Store was outstanding as well
