Product Description

Product Description

An assorted group of peaceful, schooling GloFish® Pristella tetras that adds nonstop motion and fluorescent color to community aquariums. These active midwater swimmers look especially vibrant under blue LED lighting and do best when kept in groups.

GloFish® colors are inherited traits, not dyes or injections, so the fish are born with their fluorescent color.

  • About 1.5-2 inches
  • 3-5 years

Feeding Instructions

Feed a high-quality tropical flake or micro-pellet as the staple diet, and supplement with occasional frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms for variety. Feed 2 to 3 times daily in small amounts that can be consumed within about one minute to avoid overfeeding.

Habitat and Care

Habitat and Care

Keep in an appropriately sized aquarium of at least 15 gallons. Provide substrate and structure such as decorations and live or plastic plants for hiding places, while still allowing open swimming space. Check the filter and water temperature to ensure that the filter is moving water, and temperature is approximately 72-80°F. About 25% of the water should be changed every other week. Test strips can be used to monitor water quality. Beneficial filtration bacteria starter cultures should be added at set up, and new fish should only be added when the tank is fully cycled.
