Common Plecostomus are a hardy algae eater and scavenger that is well suited for larger aquariums. As one of the more active Plecostomus, this species can often be seen during the day once it has settled in. The robust body and pugnacious behavior make this animal a good choice for a variety of tank mates.

  • Life expectancy is 10 to 15 years
  • Available in Small, Medium, Med/Large and Large
  • Max size is 15 inches
