Also known as the Weather Loach, Dojo Loaches have an outgoing and active personality. Gentle in nature, they can be a great addition as a scavenger to community aquariums. Available in both the wild coloration and gold variety, Dojo Loaches are sure to add a lot to your home aquarium.

  • Life expectancy is 7 to 10 years.
  • Max size is 6 inches

  • Tank requirements: Minimum 20 gallon aquarium
  • Owner experience level = Beginner to intermediate
  • Introduction to tank: Can be kept in singles or groups
  • Décor: Provide with areas to hide and benefit from having live plants.
  • Water conditions: Introduce to established aquariums only that is slightly acidic to neutral to somewhat alkaline.
  • Cleaning: 25% of the aquarium water should be vacuumed and replaced each week
  • Additional information: Use conditioner for tap water
