Dojo loaches are easygoing bottom dwellers that do best in an established aquarium with hiding places and a secure lid.
- Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate
- Minimum Tank Size: 20 gallons
- Water Temperature: About 65-75°F
- pH: Slightly acidic to slightly alkaline
- Tank Mates / Temperament: Gentle; can be kept singly or in groups with peaceful community fish
- Maintenance: Vacuum and replace 25% of the water weekly, using conditioner for tap water
- Equipment: Filter, hiding places, live plants, and a tight-fitting lid
