A peaceful freshwater mystery snail with a rich black shell that adds contrast and movement to planted and community aquariums. It spends the day grazing on biofilm, algae, and leftover food while exploring glass, décor, and substrate.
Mystery snails can breathe both underwater and at the surface using a long breathing tube called a siphon.

Keep in an appropriately sized aquarium of at least 5 gallons. Provide substrate and structure such as decorations and live or plastic plants for hiding places. Check the filter and water temperature to ensure that the filter is moving water, and temperature is approximately 68-84°F. About 25% of the water should be changed every other week. Test strips can be used to monitor water quality.
