Available in a variety of colors, these medium size fish make excellent centerpieces to community aquariums. Belonging to the group of fish known as cichlids, Angelfish have inquisitive personalities and often learn to interact with their human care takers.

  • Minimum tank requirements = 20 gallons for a single 29 gallons for a pair. Taller aquariums proffered. 
  • Décor: Taller live plants are ideal.
  • Water parameters: Thrive in slightly acidic to neutral to slightly alkaline water conditions. Use conditioner for tap water.
  • Cleaning: 25% of the aquarium water should be vacuumed and replaced each week
  • Additional information: Angelfish should not be introduced to an immature aquarium.
