The new formula is a fail
My fur babies were LOVING the pappys pot roast and texas steak tips, but now they snub it. One of them actually runs from the smell. The meat is hard not soft like it used to be, and a weird putrid color. Off to buy a new brand of food.

Picky Eater Approved!
We have been buying Merrick dog food for my lab mix to mix into her kibble for a few months now and the difference in her appetite is remarkable. She's always been the kind of dog who takes maybe a couple bites of her food and then decides she's done and walks away, but since we've started mixing this into her food, she devours it without leaving her bowl, and actually looks forward to meal times. She's been underweight for most of her life because of her refusal to eat, and we've tried other brands in the past with no success, but she absolutely loves this food, she's finally put on weight and is a healthy weight for her size.

Amazing Dog Food with amazing ingredients!
I recently rescued a stray 2 year old German Shepherd, I always owned small dogs but I also longed for a GS and he was in bad condition, I took him in ,took him to a vet and began to nurse him back to health, after trying several canned foods and learning about poultry sensitivity with GS breeds I looked for wet food that was true to their main ingredients and found Merrick, I love how most of the can foods ensure that the main ingredients are just that ...for example 96% real beef, when you read the first 5 ingredients on the label they are accurate. My dog loves this food and its smells incredibly good, If I was in need of food I would eat this myself. I love that you have both pate and chunky types! keep up the good work Merrick do not change anything in how you make this great food for dogs.(unless you find something unsafe) I think I will try can food for my cats as well!

My dog Lady loves pappy's pot roast and all the Merrick line of food. I like it because it doesn't smell bad like other dog food and it looks like real chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots.

Amazing
My dog had to be hand fed almost everything I tried. She gets tired of food really fast and has a very sensitive stomach. I never wanted to change her food a lot for the reason that I didn't want to upset her stomach. Finally after she went almost 4 days without eating anything I tried this can. She has had Merrick in the past so I didn't think she would go for it but she absolutely loves this food. Merrick is great canned food she will eat almost everyone of them and it doesn't upset her stomach. She has not had anything go wrong for the last week that she has been eating merrick. Thanks Merrick for helping me get my poor pup to finally eat

Never say never!
My 2year old Jack Russell Terrier had to be coaxed into eating every food that I was offering her. Until a pet store in LA recommended this that her dog LOVED! Viola! Magic now an excited JRT at every meal. And as a vegetarian I swore I would NEVER give my dog canned wet food. It made me sick but this actually looks and smells like real food. Thanks from a very happy JRT and owner!
