Feeding Instructions

Talk to your veterinarian about your dog's ideal weight and adjust your amounts accordingly.

*Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your dog's activity level and overall fitness.

Adult Dogs: Adult dogs with normal activity may be fed the recommended amount in two meals daily. Depending on your dog's age and activity level, serving sizes may vary slightly from the recommended daily feeding guide portions.

Transition Instructions: Because Rachael RayTM Nutrish® may offer different ingredients than your dog is used to, it may take up to ten days for your dog's system to become acclimated. Slowly mix with other food over a five- to ten-day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Ray™ Nutrish®.

Days 1-3: 25% Nutrish® Food mixed with 75% Other Food Days 4-6: 50% Nutrish® Food mixed with 50% Other Food

Days 7-9: 75% Nutrish® Food mixed with 25% Other Food

Days 10+: 100% Nutrish® Food For pregnant females, feed daily 1.5 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.

Weaning Puppies: Start puppies on Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® PEAK Northern Woodlands Recipe™ With Turkey, Duck & Quail dry dog food as soon as they begin to chew on solid food, usually 3-4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age).

Growing Puppies: Feed 2-3 times the amount recommended for the corresponding adult weight, in three meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months. If desired, food can be moistened. To feed moistened, mix 1/4 cup of water to 2 cups of Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Peak™ Northern Woodlands Recipe™ With Turkey, Duck & Quail dry dog food. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooo stoked for food time!!! My boys love this food, I tried giving it to them on a whim looking for something a bit higher quality with less corn, and my picky eater gets so excited about this food! Some guy at the store said his picky eater loved it so I gave it a try and sure enough! And my hungry boy does the stamps feet dance and sniffs for hours looking for any stray kibble. My Shepherd seems more soft now too. They love love love it. Downside is I was hoping going higher quality would mean less poops but there are more, but they are less stinky and more healthy looking. Food is a bit more expensive than our old brand but if it makes them happy, worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a 30 pound Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix, who didn't use to be a picky eater but recently has started to become more particular about what he eats. He really really seemed to like this dog food! It was the second food I've tried him on since we switched from a previous kind, and the first type I tried he would leave sitting in the bowl for days. I started him on Rachel Ray's Nutrish Peak Open Range recipe a few weeks ago and he's kind of fallen in love with it. I don't have to coax him to eat by hiding dog treats in the food anymore, and he hasn't had any stomach issues from it! Will definitely be purchasing again once this bag runs out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this for food because I was desperate. I thought our Bichon was dying because he was refusing the food I'd been giving him for over a year. He is diabetic and on insulin. I tried Rachel's dog food and I am so happy. He loves it. He's gained weight and his last check up showed that all his tests were pretty much back too normal. He was so bad at one point that I really thought I would have to put him down!! Thank you Rachel Ray. I love this dog food because it doesn't have by products, has fiber, and some fat. My Teddy loves it. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dogs cannot get enough of Peak I just got my order from Chewy.com of my Rachel Ray food. My 2 dogs, Duke & Dixie have been eating Nutrish Turkey, brown rice & Venison for 6 months or so & thought I would try Peak! WOW! They were sniffing the bag before I even got it out of the box!! This is a winner!! AGAIN!! Rachel Ray outdoes herself with her dog food! The only food that my dogs eat without ever "doctoring it up" and the results are incredible. They maintain their weight, shed less & are very healthy! Best is that I never have to worry about what I am feeding them! I am a professional pet sitter/dog walker in NJ & recommend Nutrish to all my clients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found the One! I never write reviews but I feel that i definitely needed to regarding Peak. I have tried over 8 different high end dog foods brands. My German Rottweiler would either get horrible allergies-- resulting in weeks of antibiotics, diarrhea, itchy skin, red eyes, runny nose.....or he just plainly wouldn't like it. I wanted a food that's would not only would suit him health wise but I also wanted him to like it. Peak does the trick! Not only do I love the ingredients...my big boy loves the food and it's perfect for his muscular build! Pls don't ever discontinue!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Rachel Rae's commitment to animals and this food is definitely higher quality than a lot of what is out there. She also does great work with rescues. I work at a rescue that gave us a vehicle to use so I know her brand really cares. My only disappointment is the second ingredient is chicken not any of the meats mentioned and one of my dogs has allergies and skin sensitivities so I can't feed him this. Chicken and any food with feathers is a common allergy Among pups and I wished it was used less as a filler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing food for picky eaters! I bought this food 3 weeks ago for my fussy 2 year old Cavapoo! Spencer is not food or treat motivated and I either threw out or gave away numerous foods and treats. I was in Petsmart and saw the Peak display. I reluctantly bought a bag thinking this too would be dismissed by Mr Finicky but I was and am still amazed that my pup is now eating “dog food”! From day one, he picked out the Peak nuggets from his dish which I mixed with his old food as not to confuse his GI system with a complete sudden change! He is still eating and enjoying his “crunchies”. Thank you Rachael Ray...you solved my dinner time frustration and my pup is now getting the proper nutrition he needs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome food So I have a dog that has an allergy to pretty much any grain....it eats up her skin. I have another that is such a picky eater that its worrisome that she won't eat until she has to. So I have tried pretty much every food including Simple 6 and the other Rachael Ray brands, other budget brands that dont have grains in them. I saw this one when I had to grab some dog food as they were almost out and it was time to tray another brand to see if it worked. Low and behold my picky dog ate the bowl within minutes of it being on the ground for the first feeding. Now she lines up to eat just like her sister. I wish there was a bit more protein but with the price that its at I won't complain that my girls are happy with their food again
