Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this brand! My cat love this brand especially their wet food. She hasn’t had any stomach issues since I’ve switched her to this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After a stray cat adopted me ( and I did the work trying to find his owner before I officially adopted him ) I knew I was going to have to find a different kind of cat food outside of my trusty Fancy Feast for my other cat. Lil Boy was from the streets. He had that mentality to survive. He has a crooked tail, scars all over, missing teeth, and walked with a swagger....but he is happy. One thing I noticed is that this baby had chronic diarrhea. I tried multiple kinds of cat food until I found NUTRO pate. If I smashed the little pate's with a spoon, I could get it creamy enough for Lil Boy to eat because he needed something soft because of his missing teeth. However, I also noticed that his diarrhea was becoming less and less. He prefers this food over anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft Texture and Highly Palatable My 16-year-old cat has Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma--which is a very aggressive cancer characterized by tumors that generally grow under the tongue, and destroys/disfigures the underlying mandible (lower jaw bone). Long story short: eating has becoming increasingly difficult for her as the cancer has progressed--I puree her food and sometimes the texture just isn't right, including most pate's. Decided to give Nutro a try because I initially liked the idea of smaller portions since her appetite has decreased, but lo and behold she is able to eat this pate and eats BOTH portions with much more ease! For reference, I add a little purified water and mash the pate with a spoon and the bowl is licked clean! Very happy my baby is enjoying yummy food in her final days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My cats love it! Very healthy! I bought this food for the first time after my senior cat hurt his leg and was refusing to eat. This is the only food I could get him to eat on his own! He absolutely loves it! I really wish the packaging was not plastic, I feel bad for creating so much waste. But the portions really are useful. My youngest cat was very over weight at 18lb. I started feeding him the perfect portions and was able to get him down to almost 14 lb over a period of 7 months. Now he is much healthier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We Miss the former recipe !! Finding 'clean' food for a diabetic cat is hard enough . ( she won't eat raw) Nutro cans were her absolute favourite and I felt it was the best quality I could feed her. I bought as many cases as I could find when I found out it was to be discontinued .I slowly tried to introduce her to the new formula and she won't go near it . it is not the same product at all. Please bring the tins back !!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feed Clean Chicken Paté is inferior The newest Clean Chicken Paté for cats is inferior to the original Paté chicken recipe , which is now its replacement. The new one has less protein ,11.5 % protein, compared to the original one has 12%. Cats need higher amounts of protein, so having less protein is negative, not positive. The new one has chicken broth listed as the second ingredient, and the original product has chicken liver as the second ingredient, explaining why the original product has more protein.and the replacement product less protein. As we all know the ingredients listed first, contain more . The new product had 6% fat verses the original 5%. After doing research the original one already had more fat that is recommend. The new product is more mushy after putting in cat dish and not as easy for cat to eat. My cat had been eating the original one for almost 5 years and loving it! Literally was her favorite! The new one she barely eats. She’s not enjoying it. The Clean Chicken Paté is a replacement for the other , and using the word Clean is a gimmick. The prior product was better! Very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great "Urgent Care" Choice Our 7-yr-old angora cat is recovering from an acute kidney infection that knocked out 75% of her kidney function. We almost lost her. After 2 days in a hospital, she bounced back - but then would not eat. (They had to force-feed her.) I was so worried! Several of Hill's prescription wet formulas - and even Gerber's chicken baby food - were completely rejected. I'm so glad I decided to give Perfect Portions Chicken Soft Loaf a try. She LOVES it - even when I dilute it a lot with organic chicken broth to give her more fluids! I'm not yet sure if Willow can continue eating it after she fully recovers (we hope!). She may need a low-protein, low-phosphorus diet and not sure if this qualifies, but it is definitely great for now! I highly recommend it for healthy cats, but also for when a cat is ill and urgently needs to eat. As mentioned, I add enough tasty broth (not water) to make it soupy and even easier for her to lap up. Because her stomach has shrunk so much, she can only eat half of one little loaf mixed with broth at a time, but she laps it up quickly. :) I just add more broth to the remaining "mush" and warm it for a few seconds in the microwave. This I leave by her water bowl for whenever she feels like eating again. I am so glad I no longer need to try to force an appetite stimulant pill down her throat.
