Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have for Kittens I have rehabilitated 41 cats and kittens in the past 9 years. I use only Purina Cat Chow products and only Kitten Chow for all kittens born at one of our homes. I also only use Purina Indoor formula when my Kittens get to the age of exploring and finding the big cats food bowls. I usually keep kittens with the mother for the first 3 months, once the mother wants out of confinement of their nursery then the kittens will soon follow her. Note: All my kittens stay with their mother for at least 10 weeks, please do not adopt or give kittens away before they are 10 weeks old, they learn so many important lessons from their mother those few weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Merlin won't have nothing else Coming from a family of "dog lovers", we were clueless on raising a kitten. When I first found Merlin, he was a three week old, bottle feed kitten. He stole our hearts and we made him a home. After searching online, when and what to food him once weaned off, I found that Nurturing Formula will help him grow health through his first year. Going on 8 months, he won't eat anything else. I've thought of "spoiling" him with "delicious" looking canned/dry foods. I've literally threw my money away. This is the only food Merlin will eat. I think I'll just stay with this brand through out his upcoming years. I don't think he'll want it any other way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cats meow? my kitten "purr bucket" didn't seem to like Purina Kitten Chow food, she would smell it over and over again, and maybe eat 3 or 4 pieces of it and then walk away. Then after about hour or so, she'd come to me and "meow" and hi tail it to her bowl where it would stgill be full of the kitten chow. Neeless to say, this wwould go on all day with her and when it was time for bed, it would still have the same amount in bowl. So after 2 days of this, {she did have water and some milk, and a few treats} we changed her food to regular cat food and she eats and wants more! Guess some kittens just don't care for it and mine just happens to be one of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from absolutely wonderful With so many different options and flavors of cat food, it would seem virtually impossible to choose just one, thank goodness my girls are still kittens and made the process that much simpler. As for the food, they are completely in love. I once tried to change to blue brand kitten food (both wet and dry formulas) since it is an all natural food, but the girls just wouldn't have it. That food sat in the plate almost all day until I was forced by their hunger strike to return to the store and buy the Purina bag, which by the way is was more economical so my wallet wasn't complaining. Thanks for providing great cat food at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best kitten food! I got my kitten when he was only two weeks old. I bottle fed him and eventually transitioned him to dry food. When I did, I chose Purina Kitten Chow. There were so many different kitten foods on the market and so I wanted to pick one that was affordable but also one that would maximize his development. He really loved his milk but transitioned well to the Kitten Chow and loves it. With just a crinkle of the bed, he darts right over to his food bowl. Really loved that the kitten food gave great tips on how much he should eat and all the good health benefits he is getting from eating this food. If you have a kitten, this is the kitten food to buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Morning routine I have a routine I do when I wake up in the morning, I let my two dogs out, then I head t the hall bathroom, as I head in that direction, you would think it was a race, gypsy and jade both round the corner and beat me in there, jumping up on the toilet then onto the sink. When I get in there they are both looking at me expectantly. I get the bag of kitten chow from beneath the sink and measure out the servings in both sides off their divided bowl.. Then before I can even get the measuring cup back into the bag they are digging in, They love their kitten chow!! I have to keep their bowl in the sink because it seems my dogs love it too. lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kittens Just Love Purina Kitten Chow! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a litter of four plump kittens and their mother couldn't produce enough milk. They were about 8 weeks old and I fed them kitten "milk" formula by bottle and then introduced them to Purina Kitten Chow. At first I crushed up the pieces between pieces of waxed paper with a rolling pin and softened it with the kitten milk and they just gobbled it up. Within a few days they graduated to regular Kitten Chow and I couldn't believe how fast they grew! We always have Kitten Chow on hand when we have new kittens and the four plump kittens will still eat a bowl of Kitten Chow if they get the chance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loves this food Mina ans Dabi love the Kitten Chow Nurture, they empty their bowls at every meal. Dabi was bottle fed, he was weaned on Kitten Chow. He refuses to take people food, he says he's a kitty and he eats kitty food. One time we needed cat food and I was short on money, so I found a "deal" on Luvsome cat food. By the end of the week had to borrow money to switch him back to Purina. His bm's were red, the only change that was made was the food. Once back on Cat Chow, everything cleared up, no problems since. I will Never let them go without Purina Cat Chow again. I'll find a way, they are too precious to risk their health over a few dollars. Our dogs only eat Purina Dog Chow as well.
