Kept singly in a minimum of a 24x24x30 inch wire habitat. Pairs can be kept in larger habitats. They are a low maintenance beginner experience level bird. Daily spot cleaning of the cage, water and food dishes is required. Weekly deep cleaning is recommended. Rotations of enrichment toys specifically designed for cockatiels is recommended.
