Heater
I purchased this kit for my granddaughters birthday 2 weeks ago. We can’t seem to adjust the heater. No matter where you put the dial it is hot. The water is over 88degrees. It’s hard to learn about being a new aquarium owner when it doesn’t work properly. Wish I had read these reviews earlier

heater and lights were bad dont buy
for a while the lights worked fine but then they quit out on me and i had to get them replaced. the heater said it was runnign but the temp just kept dropping until i realized that it wasn't working at all.

Good starter kit
Bought this kit about a month ago. All good except for the heater that came with it. No instructions anywhere in the box. The heater just has on off, i think. No numbers to indicate what temperature is. We tried it in the tank for a couple days before we got fish and water got very warm…above 85F, so too warm for fish. We took heater out and haven’t used it since. The water has stayed in the correct temp zone according to thermometer and fish are all good anyway.

I love this aquarium
So, I love it. Like a lot, I really like the filter, it cleans up my tank so beautifully but the wheel stops rather fast, so that a bummer! The light is ok, maybe mine is just getting pretty dim! I contacted support into getting new hinges for the back and received them really fast! support is awesome!

Worst aquarium I ever purchased
After owning this tank less than 2 months, there is algae on the clear plastic piece. Also, my LED lights quit working. I believe they quit working because of all the moisture from the filter that does nothing but splatter water up at the lights. I'm very sad about this purchase.

Poor quality - low value
We bought our aquarium with LED lights and bio-wheel filtration a couple of months ago. Shortly after purchase, the LED lights stopped working regularly. I have to jiggle the switch back and forth to have any luck getting the light to function.
Also the way the filtration is designed, the water never touches the “Bio-wheel” so I am not sure what purpose it serves. We tried to add thick tape to redirect the water to no avail!
I would not recommend To anyone!

Terrible Customer Service
I purchased the Marineland 55 gallon aquarium kit and the Marineland Majesty stand. I had a issue with it, and called customer service. The representative was very rude, unprofessional not willing to assist me resolve the issue. He hang up the phone when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Such a shame.. I won't by any from the Marineland products again.

Poor QC; Excellent Customer Service
Purchased 10G Bio-Wheel Aquarium Kit as Christmas gift for daughter. Kit had missing and incorrect parts: (1) missing heater suction cup brackets; (2) incorrect size cover clips. Thankfully, customer service is top notch and super responsive which saved my young daughter from disappointment. They responded to my email within 24 hours and shipped the missing parts soon after.
