Love it
This tank is wonderful!! This tank is so quiet. Its in my room and you would never even know its running. I saw another comment about the pump needing to be more powerful? Its VERY powerful AND you can adjust this pumps speed. Overall its only a 5 gal tank perfect for a betta or small schooling fish. Its a fun, quiet starter tank. I actually recently bought a second one!

Nice Place to Start
I am a first time fish tank owner. I wanted to just get my feet wet with the hobby and go big later. Since this is a very expensive hobby, I figured to start with a Fluval tank. I heard great things about the brand overall. With my experience with the Spec V, I would highly suggest to start with maybe a 10-15 gal or a tank with larger dimensions than the Spec V.
Pros - Well priced, east to set-up, quality material
Cons - Limited space for aquascaping, but again it is only 5-gal so keep it simple. The pump needs to be a bit more power. Spec V should have a rgb light with different selections especially if you are going to have plants (e.g. monte carlo).
