Feeding Instructions

Wouldn’t be dinnertime without the stew!

Just a tablespoon needed
Our 15 year old Puggle is as picky as they come. Top of the line kibble and she may or may not eat it. Just a tablespoon of this and some of the other flavors get her to eat her food much more quickly and thoroughly.

Great mix of poultry
As he as aged, my dog’s tummy has gotten more sensitive and he can no longer eat red meat based products often. This stew is great as it offers a variety of flavors so he’s not bored but is gentle enough for his stomach.

Dogs would not eat this
I have three dogs and thought they would love this. I purchased this product today for the first time. My Pug and Boxer dogs refused to eat their food after I mixed some of this in. My Boxer Puppy ate his food, however has had two very loose stools after having only a very small amount added to his food. Will not purchase again.

Perfect food for a picky eater
We've had trouble keeping weight on our goldendoodle puppy. If he doesn't like a food, he just won't eat. Many canned dog foods are pate and he won't touch it. From the first time we opened the package, he was hooked. This is one of his favorite meals. :)

Pup loves it!
We were having issues with our golden eating, he was losing weight because he wasn't eating anything we were trying with him. I was down to hand feeding him. As a note, he's just over a year old. He's still active, normal movements, and the vet says he's healthy, just struggling with his diet.
We tried Stella and Chewy's Stews and he loves them! He has even gained several pounds!

Awesome healthy side option or meal!
I’ve fed a variation of the formulas for this stew to my puppy. I used it as a topper for her food (to help feed less kibble). She loved it! All flavors. And I like how it literally looks like stew you would make at home, yourself. You can see all the veggies and meat chunks; which makes me feel better about feeding it too. Downside is it doesn’t last too long if you have a big dog or if you want to do 1:1 ratio with whatever else you’re feeding, but I always have one or two in my stock pile. We got her spayed the other day and I actually fed these stews so it would be easy on her tummy, while still assuring she’d get a balanced meal and enjoy it!

Life savers for my aging Aussie
We started buying the Stellas Stew varieties on the recommendation of our pet store, Healthy Pet in Agoura Hills.
Max, almost 14, hadn't been eating well for months, and once we put him on Stellas Stews, his appetite came back. We add a scoop of dry food to half a box of Stellas Stew both in the morning and the evening. He loves his food and has also gained some needed weight.

There isn't a single thing me or my dogs did not love about the stew! I was expecting more of a broth with chunks, but it definitely was a "stew!" All three dogs, even the picky ones, devoured their food with the stew on top!

Sharing their Stew!
I picked up some Stella's Stew to add to my dog's kibble. When the cat got a whiff of the dog's dish, she pushed him out of the way and started gobbling! The best part is, there are no gums in this food, so she can eat it safely. Now, when I open up a package of stew, the cat and dog get their own portions.

Amazing!
Wow! I’ve never seen my pups get so excited about wet food before. They usually turn their noses up at the sight actually. I opened a container of stew and they both came running! This is the only brand we will buy now! We have tried every variety and they love each one! Thank you for such great packaging, as well! Stays very fresh in the fridge after opening, that’s a huge bonus since my guys are small and can’t eat the whole container in one day.
