Chicken thigh bone in can!
I was shocked to discover a chicken bone in the can with the food. So glad I noticed it. That would have been very dangerous if I hadn't noticed it.

Your explanation as to why bondes are in your dog food is absolutely crazy!!! To make the comment is disrespectful to first our four legged family members and us...as mentioned earlier we too had to have our sire visit the vet to remove the "edible" bone.
I don't care how long you have been in business, it is justs wrong...you just loss a relativley recent customer....PS: if your chef thinks there is nothing wrong with eating the chicken bones, then have him feed food to his children....

My pug gets a special treat each holiday
TO NEGATIVE REVIEWERS: this food is supposed to contain bones. They cook them so they’re soft and easy to eat. We have never had an incident, and we have been feeding bone-in Merrick recipes for eight years.
I have been feeding this food to my pug for every Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and birthday we celebrate in this household since 2012. He always loves it, especially since he gets to chew apart the mushy bones present in each can.
Even has he gets older, he looks forward to the holidays as much as we do. He now associates “Thanksgiving,” with delicious food, and whenever he hears that word will eagerly run up to where we stockpile cans of this stuff.
Thank you for making a food that allows me to love on my fur baby a little more each holiday.

Love it!
Did a lot of research to find a good quality food for my boy. Love Merrick and Marley does too! No garbage in it like the products found in supermarkets and they come in a wide range of flavors. I haven’t found one he doesn’t like yet.

Had a bone inside
My dog has eaten this for months and after having bloat and a portion of her intestines removed she can no longer eat bones. With that being said a bone was found inside the can of dog food (Merrick Smothered Comfort) and puts her at a huge risk, I shouldn’t have to survey the dog food before giving it to my dog.

Whole bones included
We opened the can and found 2 large bones and one partial chicken bone in the can. The large bones were obvious but the partial bone was small and only because we were looking it was found. This could have been very dangerous and we are very disappointed in your product. Now we lack trust that your food is safe.
The bottom of the can has 18038 CL 3 21669 0812. Best by 7 Feb. 2020.
