Great kibble,

Golden Retriever loves it!
Very pleased with this dog food for my Golden. For the first two years of his life I raw fed him. As we began to travel more I researched kibble alternatives for him to make my life easier. Merrick looked like a great choice. I switched him to the grain free venison chick pea formula first. It was a little too high in protein content for him (loose poops.) Switched him to the grain free lamb sweet potato and it is perfect!

This is only food for our dog
We have a Maremma Sheepdog and she's had nothing but Merrick Lamb & Sweet Potato as her staple food. I bought this without really knowing the benefits but it was a recommendation at the vet and pet store due to the quality ingredients, the fact that it's always in stock & available, and it's the only brand they trust. I've seen plenty of other dog foods come and go over the years -- many re-branded and re-marketed -- but I'll stick with Merrick and this flavor. So far, Emma has done very well with it and I do recommend it to others when they ask. Thanks for the quality and attention to detail -- it all shows!

Health Conscience Dog food!
Our British Bulldog...Worchester had allegeries from other dog foods, but when we changed the food to Merrick's lamb and sweet potatoe his skin allergy resolved. Now we are going to be getting another puppy ( chocolat lab) and he will be on this brand of food!! Kevin

Noticeable difference in overall health
In January we adopted from a local rescue, her name is Rosebud and she is a Victorian bulldog. After an extensive vet visit we were told that Rosebud is allergic to chicken, beef, and we should avoid grains. That's when we discovered Merrick Lamb, and Sweet Potato. We have been feeding her only this Merrick formula to her ideal weight and her improvement is astonishing. She is up to an ideal weight and is so strong, her coat is filling in where she once had bald patches, her tear stains are gone, her snoring has subsided, and her energy has increased ten fold. Great Dog Food !! no more gooey ears
I got my little rescue Chihuahua Michaela from the shelter almost a year ago and as healthy as she is now , she has always had gooey ears . I put her on the real lamb and sweet potato 2 weeks ago and her gooey ears are completely clean . She loves the food and its a perfect size for her :)

Best of the Best.
As with every Merrick's product that our Toy Poodle Oliver has tried for the last six months, I have to say that this one is AWESOMELY GREAT. Since he's been eating this lamb recipe Oliver is showing off the most lustrous, shiny fur and healthiest skin ever. And above all, as with your other recipes, he hasn't had any GI issues. His very sensitive tummy tolerates Merrick's food greatly. I'm so glad I have switched to Merrick's !!!

The best dog food out there!
My dog has been eating this food for a year and a half and has been doing great ever since! Before she was on this food she was not doing well. She constantly had the runs and was itchy. I found out that she has food allergies and can not eat chicken or grains. It did not take long after eating Real Lamb and sweet potato recipe that her system became normal and she started to look and be healthy! She has not had a problem since I started her on this Merrick recipe!

A dear friend who has Irish Setters told me about the Merrick Lamb & Sweet Potato, and to get my boys off what I was feeding them. So we did a gradual switch, and they are now on the Lamb. They also get coconut oil, pumpkin with the dry kibble - they bot seem very healthy and coats are better.
But have a concern - could the Lamb be to rich for them? All of a sudden have ear problems.
Would the beef be better?
Great food and love the Merrick Lamb treats too.

Has improved the feel of his fur
I was happy enough with my last dry dog food, a fairly generic yet good quality food that was fine despite his sensitive stomach, however the kibble was quite big and as my Chihuahua aged and started having problems with his teeth I started looking for a smaller kibble dog food. I had gotten a sample of Merrick at a pet fair and Scooby liked it so I switched him to the grain free chicken and sweet potato. I am amazed at how much softer his fur is and he can even tolerate the wet food, something that has always caused gastric distress in the past. I may switch to the lamb or duck formula to help with his IBS which has gotten worse as he has gotten older.

Perfect for dogs with allergies and sensitivities
My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is highly allergic to chicken. Prior to This food we had a hard time finding a cost friendly , high quality food with limited ingredients and no chicken product in it. She loves the flavor and she has had no allergies since being on this foot for two years.

Another tasty option for the GF Merrick dog
I love all of the Merrick brand grain free kibble. I tried Kaiser on the lamb flavor because she had just finished her bag of beef. She absolutely LOVES this flavor. She has and will always be a GF Merrick dog. Merrick provides the best nutrition that I can honestly trust. I love the fact that there are so many different main ingredient flavor options available. I think Kaiser may like the lamb more than she did the duck! That makes me smile to know that I can change flavors up and no matter what I pick each time she's gonna love it. Everyone is always commenting on how good she looks, I am always proud to answer their, "what brand of food do you feed" question with the answer Merrick grain free.

I work at Pet Supplies Plus so I always give my dogs the best food, and I always tell neighbors the best thing they can get for their dog. I haven't turned back and I refuse to give my dogs anything less, they love it! It's hard to keep it on the shelves because so many of our neighbors have switched. healthy eating
My 3 yr old (yes 3) standard poodle was acting like an 8yr old when he got up after a nap or early morning. We changed to Merrick at the reccomendation of some friends who switched their mastiffs to the product. He is now almost 5 and keeps up with his sisters (age 4 and 8, also standard poodles) with no problem. still looks like a lanky teenager, but now with bounce and sometimes grace! I have also found that the volume of food they comsume is less and credit the natural/protein content for this. I expect they will have healthier lives without the ugly fillers!

I bought this a few months ago I needed POULTRY FREE and Grain FREE my dog has allergy from chicken and it took me years to figure it out it was the food fillers and chicken he loves Merrick products and he is off steroids and doing 100 per better Thank You Merrick for caring, Hopeful someday to have poultry free lite he needs to loose some weight but no chicken for my dog. I had him on Science Diet for years.

My Dog Loves It
My min schnauzer loves her new food. I switched from Orijen because she had developed an odor eating it and I still wanted a top rated food as she has sensitive stomach and skin. This food has excellent quality ingredients and best yet, my dog has no odor. Lamb is an ingredient recommended for dogs with skin allergies.
