Formula change without warning—terrible now
Merrick quietly changed the formula, reducing the fat content and increasing the water content and making the texture far less appealing to cats. This had been my cats’ favorite food for years; now we are trying to find an alternative. Extremely disappointed in what used to be a reliable product.

A life saver!!
The Merrick single ingredient Duck recipe is absolutely a life saver!! We have 3 cats, 2 who cannot have a trace of chicken, all 3 live this food!! Even if it’s coke out of the refrigerator!! It is extremely hard to find single ingredient cat food without a trace of chicken. My husband has a very picky nose to smells & he doesn’t have a problem with this food in the kitchen either. Thank God for this cat food!!

Life Saver!!
Absolutely a life saver!! We have 3 cats, 2 who cannot have a trace of chicken, all 3 love the Limited Ingredient Duck recipe !!
They’ll eat it even if it’s cold right out of the refrigerator. It is so hard to find a single ingredient cat food without a trace of chicken. Thank God for this cat food!! My husband has a very sensitive nose to any type of smell, he has never complained about any odor from this food.

My cat loves this food!
I have a 16 year old cat with allergies to chicken and cod. We have literally tried dozens of different brands/formulas, looking for something that she can both tolerate and enjoys. Bingo with Merrick LID Duck formula! She loves this food. It's been about 5 months since we found this product- she looks forward to every meal time and her allergy symptoms are gone. Thank you Merrick!

Allergic Cat is Very Happy
She loves it and it does not aggrevate her mystery allergy ( I think it's probably chicken and turkey) It looks like actual food and has a good amount of moisture which is great.
