Feeding Instructions
We recommend using the guide below as a starting point, but every pet is different. Adjust the feeding amount as necessary to help your pet achieve an ideal body weight. Divide the number of cups per day by the number of feedings per day.
Daily Feeding Guidelines (standard 8 oz dry measure cup):
Adult Maintenance: 5 lb: 3/8 cup; 10 lb: 5/8 cup; 15 lb: 3/4 cup
Weight Loss: 5 lb: 1/4 cup; 10 lb: 1/2 cup; 15 lb: 5/8 cup
Transitioning to Instinct: Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.
